Donor Stories

Generational Ripples

10/01/2007

In May, a handful of you in the WaterStone fellowship of givers joined with over 100,000 other donors to see the completion of a dream…the fulfillment of a passion to help build the first state-of-the-art 60,000 square foot Creation Museum. A museum, which will substantiate the truth of scripture for many generations to come and which according to one visitor, “is bigger than anyone would have expected.”

The new museum just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio, demonstrates the truth of the Bible particularly in its account of creation. It presents a fully engaging, unparalleled sensory experience.

Visitors take a walk through time; stroll through the Garden of Eden with the dinosaurs; consider the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil; listen and watch an animatronics discussion about building the Ark; evaluate for themselves the cataclysmic effects of the flood; study the Tower of Babel and its significance from a Biblical standpoint and discover for themselves the truth of “In the beginning, God created…”

WaterStone, in fulfilling its passion to help transform assets into living water, helped transform over $1.5 million into this “world class” $27 million Creation Museum. This represents streams of life-giving water coming together to ripple throughout all generations.
